The Tolimanina Frontier is a remote star cluster in Pilgrim's Esplanade in the Crucible Galaxy. There are no jumpgates that connect to it, and thus, it can only be reached through more conventional forms of FTL.
The area was charted out by refugees from the Confederacy of Greenwater. After its split into the Greenwater Socialist Republic and the Kingdom of Greenwater, the refugees sought a new home. With the Second Galactic Senate on the verge of potential collapse, the refugees sought out a remote system well outside the jurisdiction of the Galactic Senate where they could peacefully live away from the upcoming war.
The leader of the refugees, Captain Rotas who commanded the DEV Bor'Si recruited some university students - among them being Salannah Zenklah to help prepare to settle any potential alien worlds that are discovered.
