The Obsidian Shroud is a dark nebula in Pilgrim's Esplanade of the Crucible Galaxy. It is a band of dust clouds that obstructs the view of other stars from the surface of many inhabited planets which gives the appearance of a large rift in the sky.

Ebon is a large spherical megastructure made of remarkably similar material to that of Novarckas or Domum Regimen. It has one habitable planet named Resha which was home to an extinct civilization that had a complex mythology involving the worship of the "Onyx Sun" - presumably referring to Ebon.
