The Snakeeye Galaxy is located 66 million light years from the Crucible Galaxy. It is a lenticular galaxy home to the Zadon species who were a proxy species for the Basilisk within Omni 01. The galaxy has a diameter of over 150,000 lightyears.

Regions

The Snakeeye Galaxy features two rings - an outer ring and an inner ring with several arms connecting the two together.

Outer Ring

The outer ring is where most active star formation takes place.

  • Devil's Lens - The Devil's Lens is a nebula located in the galactic north region of the Outer Ring where it meets the Spokes.

Inner Ring

The Inner Ring consists of the bright center of the galaxy and its core.

The Spokes

The spokes consist of galactic arms similar to that of a spiral galaxy but less pronounced. They connect the outer ring and inner ring. The innermost regions of the Spokes are littered with at least four million black spheres believed to have once been nodes of the Basilisk. Though inactive for more than a billion years, they still radiate energy that makes them dangerous to approach.
