Heglarean

The Heglareans are a species that rose to become a superpower during the era of the First Galactic Senate.

Physiology

The Heglareans are native to Heglarea, a world close to the Galactic Core Zone of the Crucible Galaxy. Their skin is chitinous, and they possess a metallic carapace.

History

The Heglareans become spacefaring several thousand years after the Karnasians. When the Heglareans were discovered alongside the Hunre, the first iteration of the Galactic Senate began.

Later, the accidental destruction of their homeworld caused a galactic war. The Heglareans allied with the Hunre to create the Dragonslayer Alliance to stop the Karnasians. The war, however, resulted in the collapse of the Galactic Senate allowing the Buyuk Empire to move in and begin their conquest of the galaxy.
