Zalin Nemalonus

Zalin Nemalonus was a criminal warlord active during the early period of the Allied Sovereign Nations. He openly opposed Sokeja Skaista, ruler of the ASN, and referred to her as a tyrant due to her tendencies to interrupt his own criminal schemes.

Zalin is notorious for having killed one of Sokeja's children through the use of an Eros Ka'Rinah named Yoiku.

History

On Smibrann, a violent volcanic eruption displaced approximately 40,000 locals. Zalin took advantage of the situation by starting a racketeering operation, selling food and medical supplies for at least ten times their normal cost. He had paid off the local police form to allow him to conduct his scheme. When Sokeja Skaista put a stop to it by sending out her own spies to disrupt the operation, Zalin sought a chance to finally get back at her after many years of his schemes getting foiled. He hired Yoiku, an Eros Ka'Rinah whose twin sister was previously killed by Sokeja, to enact a scheme to assassinate Sokeja's son Bevil.

While the assassination was successful, Zalin was in for a vengeful retaliation when Sokeja responded with her own Eros Ka'Rinah assassin, Le'anna. Zalin met a gruesome fate being devoured by Le'anna, thus ending the reign of the Nemalonus Clan.
