Oikianoid

Oikianoids were a race native to the planet Kaminspeti in the Echapatrida Moving Group in the Dragholon Expanse of the Crucible Galaxy. The species’ bodies consisted of a central disk with five dextrous arms branching off of the disk. On the underside of the disk was a mouth, and on the top, five eyes that provided weak vision. From arm tip to arm tip, they would usually span about 5 to 8 feet long.

Oikianoids were omnivores that ate algae and small animals. Semiaquatic, they were able to live in water or land, but while they could survive without air, they required daily access to water to live. Changing climates and scarce food supply forced them to evolve to become more and more intelligent in order to survive.

By the time of the Second Galactic Senate, most Oikianoids were members of the Clomicyle State.
