The Congress of the Honourable (Taralian: Trāgrium Fyadamārel, /'tra:grjəm fjada'ma:rel/) was a governing and advisory assembly that existed during several eras of Karnasian history, specifically during the Unions. The number of members who participated in the Congress fluctuated over Arkarnas' 40,000-year history. However, the most important qualification for membership throughout its existence was one's Order. Only those belonging to the Fyasaguotār and Fyakasarār were allowed to become members, and only a few individuals from those Orders could sit in the Congress at any given time. One of the Congress' primary responsibilities was the appointment and oversight of the Arkai. The Congress was presided by the Artamār, who was considered to be the second-most powerful individual in the Union after the Arkai.
During the Taroran Republic, the Congress was replaced by the Popular Congress (Trāgrium Fyatārel), a democratic, elected institution.
