The world of Vrania is controlled by the Lael'eth Directorate, and nearly 50 years before the lockdown of the Drabreim Sector, was the site of one of the nastiest battles between the Lael'eth and the Kallekite Hive.
One of the Kallekite responsible for this battle, The Scourge of Vrania, is still at large, and now serves as a Hive Node of the Kallekite Hive.
Meanwhile, the 'host' of the Scourge of Vrania, computer programmer Erha Nurotsk, still lives and, while safe on Lael, reportedly still suffers trauma from the incident, both trauma from the Kallekite using her as a host, and the fact that the Kallekite Hybrid produced from her caused one of the bloodiest battles in Lael'eth History.

Vrania is a garden world, holding extensive wildlife and plantlife, each organism adapted to its native biome.
Economy
The Vranian Economy mostly revolved around tourism, due to the expansive wildlife and plantlife the planet held, even before colonization. There is even a species of reptilio-avian creature that is proportedly pre-sapient in its intelligence.
Much of Vrania's tourist infrastructure was damaged, however, in the Kallekite attack 53 years (from their perspective) prior. A combination of still-damaged infrastructure and a fear of returning due to the Kallekite threat means that the Vranian economy has yet to recover from the attack, and is still in a state of rebuilding.
