Aaba'Mundi was the fabled homeworld of the Aeliph. One of the earliest formed planets in the galaxy, it orbited the black hole Dhaelitt which in turn was close proximity to the Galactic Core. Today, virtually no evidence of Aaba'Mundi exists today except for trace samples of Dragonrock in a few comets scattered throughout the core.

It is not entirely clear how Aaba'Mundi was capable of supporting life given its extreme proximity to the Galactic Core. It is thought that alternate versions of the Empire of Arckas traveled from the Galactic Core to seed life on the planet. However, this still fails to provide a clear origin understood through normal temporal means. As such, Aaba'Mundi is considered one of the greatest mysteries in the galaxy even to the Empire of Arckas themselves.

Characteristics

Aaba'Mundi was one of the earliest planets formed in the Crucible Galaxy. It was able to exist in extremely close proximity to the Galactic Core as during Aaba'Mundi's formation, the cosmic radiation was far less intense as the galaxy was still in its early formation. The planet had a gravity of around 0.8G and was covered in deserts. The stars in the area were so bright that the planet's nighttime was never completely dark, being at most the equivalent of an early twilight or late dawn.

Biosphere

No liquid water existed on the surface though it was in rich amounts in large underground caves. As such, life was extremely scarce but in small pockets.

For much of the planet's history, giant roving arthropods covered in rocky crystalline carapaces wandered the surface. These creatures, known as Sart'han, would passively feed off the radiation from the luminous stars in the sky. The massive surface area of the creature provided the much-needed metabolism to be able to move. Because of this, they could grow indefinitely to the size mountains and they could live for tens of thousands of years. However, few ever live to grow that large. Most of their young either succumb to the harsh climate or to predators such as the Hanachi serpent.

The Aeliph knew them as living aspects of the earth and during much of their tribal history, they worshiped them as gods. The Aeliph spent most of their early days living near and riding them as they provided protection and shelter.

Though the Sart'han are long extinct, a single, well preserved Sart'han was discovered in orbit of Dhaelitt which provided proof of their massive size. However, attempts at cloning have failed as no viable DNA would have survived over billions of years.

Locations

Na'zarhak

Though long since destroyed, the city of Na'zarhak was preserved in a simulation in Na'zrah's databanks. One of the most remarkable discoveries was the ancient city of Na'zarhak, also known as Na'zrah's Cradle or Na'zrah's First Memory. Na'zarhak was the site in which the first node of Na'zrah was constructed. Figuratively speaking, this was the birthplace of Na'zrah - at least his incarnation in the Omni 01 universe. Na'zarhak was the launching point of connecting Na'zrah to other nodes throughout the galaxy, thus giving birth to a god machine.

The city is known to be at least 6 billion years old. At the center was a four-sided step pyramid which emitted a beacon that reached out to the sky. This pyramid was carved from the shell of a Sart'han.
