Silva is a small terrestrial planet, tidally locked to its star. Oddly, the roles of flora and fauna on this planet are reversed. Mendosus is a brown dwarf 40 jovian masses. Like all brown dwarves, it is not massive enough to sustain hydrogen-helium fusion, though it has captured several stellar objects within its orbit. It is believed to be an extrasolar capture.
