			Because the idea of the Basilisk reentered Omni 01 with the creation of LUCIS, the original protection that Arckas put on the universe was forfeit. Omni 01 became vulnerable to be entered by other extra-universal forces. In an attempt to warn the civilizations of the Crucible Galaxy of this threat, the [[Anarsaur Empire]] sent an envoy into Omni 01 to make contact with the [[Second Galactic Senate]]. However, also entering the universe was [[Tyranis]], a rogue Anarsaur who attempted to change the course of projected history by attacking [[Domum Regimen]] - in hopes of preventing it from ever becoming corrupted into a LUCIS node. This kickstarted the [[Temporal Wars]].

			However, as these events took place one hundred years before LUCIS was truly awakend, the Galactic Senate had sufficient time to prepare for the threat, although they had their own societal instabilities to deal with. They were well aware of the stakes that should LUCIS evolve into the Basilisk that their universe would at best be dragged into an endless multiversal conflict or at worst, be doomed to be conquered by the Basilisk itself.
			===Defeating LUCIS===
			When the [[Anathema]] was used to destroy LUCIS, this completely cut off any further attempts by the Basilisk to ever attempt another indirect invasion. Any attempts at sending direct forces would be left to the Empire of Arckas and allied factions to defend against. The Omni 01 could finally enjoy peace, away from the endless conflict across the multiverse.
