The '''Clomicyle State''' was a nation that comprised the government of the [[Oikinoid]] people. It was active around the time of the [[Second Galactic Republic]]. The Clomicyle State controlled the [[Echapatrida Cluster]] in the Dhragolon Expanse of the [[Crucible Galaxy]].

Only a single planet within the entirety of the Echapatrida Moving Group was inhabitable to the Oikianoid species - their homeworld of [[Kaminspeti]]. Many other planets were barren or desolate as a result of catastrophic events and disasters. Consequently, though mining and other economic activity took place on other planets, very little permanent residence took place offworld, with Kaminspeti becoming an enormous Ecumenopolis housing an entire interplanetary civilization.

As a result, the Clomicyclians took on a culture that was very dedicated to their own homeworld, and viewed other species through a similar lens; when speaking about or to other species, their homeworlds would always be referred to. For instance, if discussing the [[Drussiray]], the Oikinoids would always refer to them as “the Drussiray of [[Zema]],” or if complimenting a [[Vaikan]], would say that his or her actions “honored [[Ucharpli]].”

As a result, Clomicyle culture tended to view homeworld residents from other species as having higher esteem and importance than members of colony worlds. Further, it did not look favorably upon factions, such as the [[Klymu Roving Flotilla]] or [[Carapellex]], who did not inhabit their homeworld in any significant capacity. Held in lower regard still were those who had no true homeworld of their own (at least by the standards of the Clomicylians), such as the [[Etekan]] and [[Ashadran]] peoples, referred to disrespectfully without an “of [homeworld]” suffix, neutrally “of no planet,” or in an attempt to be polite, using a stand-in planet, such as “Ashadran of [[Ashadra]].”

The Clomicyle State was attacked on several occasions by hostile aliens known as the [[Buyuk Empire]]. At one point, an enormous explosion caused by the Buyuk through then-unknown means wiped out every mining facility from an entire planet under Clomicyle control. However, no full-scale invasion of their territory took place. After coming into contact with the Vaikan and the [[Eteno]], the Oikianoids joined the [[Buyuk Wars]] against their attackers.

Eventually, [[Domum Regimen]] was conquered by the alliance that would come to be known as the Second Galactic Senate. The Clomicyle State took up membership in the new senate and sent a senator to represent themselves. The Clomicylians were war hawks against the Buyuk and consistently advocated for more aggressive and destructive action against them above defense and protection of Senate space.

While historians had previously wondered why the Echapatrida Moving Group was so inhospitable, that question would be answered during the waning days of the Buyuk Wars. The Cluster had been used by the ancient [[Arckasian]]s to test the effects of powerful environmental and [[Astronomic Annihilation Device|antiplanetary weapons]]. The Buyuk, as one of their last desperate actions in a losing war, infiltrated the Oikianoid’s beloved homeworld and activated one such buried Arckasian superweapon that had been stored below the planet’s surface, having centuries ago plundered knowledge of its long-buried location from [[Omni]] archaeologists. Its detonation was so powerful that it altered the orbit of the planet, while filling its atmosphere with toxic substances that also rapidly created a greenhouse gas effect. Volcanic eruptions, flooding, poisoning, and all matters of environmental calamity rendered Kaminspeti completely uninhabitable.

Though their friends in the Senate offered the Oikianoids a world captured from the Buyuk, the proud leadership of Clomicyle rejected their offer - instead choosing to live as a race of spacers in their home cluster. The Clomicyle navy remained active, as did its offworld mining and energy industries. Though they continued to fight against the Buyuk, their remaining power would slowly dwindle away.

Some Oikanoids chose to renounce their citizenship and live as refugees on the planets of other allied races, but most remained. Those that stayed did their best to return to some sense of normalcy while their government relied on aging infrastructure to mine and sell resources to aliens, for money that would often be put towards vain, fruitless efforts to restore the remains of their homeworld to habitability.

Eventually, the Echapatrida Moving Group would be invaded by the [[Anathema]], who would deal the coup de grace to the withering remains of Clomicyle.

The '''Crucible Galaxy''' is a large, barred-spiral galaxy with many smaller satellite galaxies. The Crucible Galaxy has a rich history dating back billions of years inhabited by multiple interstellar civilizations.

==Regions==
Ten regions were classified by the [[Second Galactic Senate]], with different classification systems being used by other governments such as the [[First Galactic Senate]] or the [[Buyuk Empire]]. The 10-region system classified the galaxy based on [[Jumpgate]] routes active within the era following the [[Battle of Domum Regimen]], which had often shaped the culture and history of different civilizations throughout said regions via their interactions with other alien species.
===Galactic Core Zone===
The Galactic Core Zone is a region with large amounts of stars, gravity wells and dangerous amounts of radiation. A supermassive singularity lies at the center. The innermost part of the core is said to be almost completely uninhabitable by carbon-based life. The GCZ was mostly associated by the Senate public with the ultra-jingoistic [[Buyuk Empire]], which was constantly at war with almost every member of the Second Galactic Senate.

Besides the capital area of Regimen, much of it has remained unexplored. Nonetheless, many trade routes between empires will pass through the Galactic Core, not going through its direct center but either over or under it. Therefore, the planets which are closest to the Galactic Core tend to be economic hubs.

While the stars around the Galactic Core have very high metallicities, the radiation from the core makes it difficult for life to evolve. Most life on planets around the Galactic Core will have either evolved completely underground or with a metallic carapace that would shield them from the radiation.

Planets are relatively uncommon as shock waves from nearby stars blow apart the proto-planetary discs of others. Nonetheless, it is still possible.

Its border with the Inner Systems was drafted based on clusters and jumpgates colonized or claimed by the Karalian Empire and UESS forming "dots" on a map that invisible lines were drawn between.

The site of a directed [[Anathema]] attack on behalf of a rival faction known as the [[Collective]] led to the creation of [[The Scar]], a site where thousands of solar systems were completely destroyed, leaving almost completely empty space in the area for thousands of lightyears.

The '''Zamard Cloud''' was an interstellar cloud found in the [[Dhragolon Expanse]] of the [[Crucible Galaxy]]. This region had 8 stars, none of which bore "habitable" planets for most life of the [[Second Galactic Senate]]. However, after revolting against the [[Yolnor Robotics Corporation]], the [[Carapellex]] automatons made their home here. By the time of the [[Karalian Civil War]], the region was under the total control of the [[Xellerac Union]].

The cloud was known to the [[Ramusian Socialist Republic]], [[Dhragolon]], and other early Vaikan polities, but it was not considered a likely candidate for any habitable planets, and as such, was not explored thoroughly. The Carapellex used this information when choosing a new planet to settle on, eventually settling in the [[Garabeiiex system]].

The '''Zamard Cloud''' was an interstellar cloud found in the [[Dhragolon Expanse]] of the [[Crucible Galaxy]]. This region had 8 stars, none of which bore "habitable" planets for most life of the [[Second Galactic Senate]]. However, after revolting against the [[Yolnor Robotics Corporation]], the [[Carapellex]] automatons made their home here. By the time of the [[Karalian Civil War]], the region was under the total control of the [[Xellerac Union]].

The cloud was known to the [[Ramusian Socialist Republic]], [[Children of the Dragholon]], and other early Vaikan polities, but it was not considered a likely candidate for any habitable planets, and as such, was not explored thoroughly. The Carapellex used this information when choosing a new planet to settle on, eventually settling in the [[Garabeiiex system]].

The [[United Kyekna Monarchies]] carried out a genocide against the CHCK-27 AIs during and after the [[Chechkal Wars]], and eventually exterminated them all.

The '''Crucible Galaxy''' is a large, barred-spiral galaxy with many smaller satellite galaxies. The Crucible Galaxy has a rich history dating back billions of years inhabited by multiple interstellar civilizations.

==Regions==
Ten regions were classified by the [[Second Galactic Senate]], with different classification systems being used by other governments such as the [[First Galactic Senate]] or the [[Buyuk Empire]]. The 10-region system classified the galaxy based on [[Jumpgate]] routes active within the era following the [[Battle of Domum Regimen]], which had often shaped the culture and history of different civilizations throughout said regions via their interactions with other alien species.
===Galactic Core Zone===
The Galactic Core Zone is a region with large amounts of stars, gravity wells and dangerous amounts of radiation. A supermassive singularity lies at the center. The innermost part of the core is said to be almost completely uninhabitable by carbon-based life. The GCZ was mostly associated by the Senate public with the ultra-jingoistic [[Buyuk Empire]], which was constantly at war with almost every member of the Second Galactic Senate.

Besides the capital area of Regimen, much of it has remained unexplored. Nonetheless, many trade routes between empires will pass through the Galactic Core, not going through its direct center but either over or under it. Therefore, the planets which are closest to the Galactic Core tend to be economic hubs.

While the stars around the Galactic Core have very high metallicities, the radiation from the core makes it difficult for life to evolve. Most life on planets around the Galactic Core will have either evolved completely underground or with a metallic carapace that would shield them from the radiation.

Planets are relatively uncommon as shock waves from nearby stars blow apart the proto-planetary discs of others. Nonetheless, it is still possible.

Relicant Space was so named for being the cradle, and grave, of once powerful civilizations by the time of the Second Senate. It was here that the [[Omni]] and the [[Taroran]] originated. In an attempt to control the flow of [[Ygsium]] and Omni artifacts (potentially including priceless treasures and exorbitantly destructive weapons), the Senate attempted to regulate passage to this region as much as possible without infringing on the rights of its native civilizations.

So named after the Dhragolon, religious figures originating from [[Vaikan]] culture, it's perhaps unsurprising that the Dhragolon Expanse was filled with [[Karalian Empire]] colonies, and Vaikan-related species such as the [[Carapellex]] and the [[Ashadran]]. Its border with the Inner Systems was drafted based on clusters and jumpgates colonized or claimed by the Karalian Empire and UESS forming "dots" on a map that invisible lines were drawn between.
*[[Twin Hearts Nebula]] - Home of the [[Vaikan]].
*[[Krizael Expanse]] Home of the [[Garro]] species and Vaikan Colonists, under the control of the [[Karalian Empire]].
*[[Greenwater Nebula]] - A Vaikan-colonized region that would later fall into a [[Karalian Civil War|Civil War]] which would spiral into a crisis for the Senate.

The Pilgrim's Esplanade began where the further reaches of the Dhragolon Expanse gave way. Many in the latter region viewed jumping out of the Dhragolon Expanse for this region was leaving "civilized space." Travelling through this region, jumpgates became fewer and farther between, with senate civilizations' expeditions finding more dead ends and more hostile aliens.

*[[Kroctus Cluster]] - Home of the [[Klymu]], this area was under the jurisdiction of the highly religious [[Mizani Empire]].
*[[Tolimanian Frontier]] - Not connected to any jumpgates, this frontier would later be explored by Greenwater refugees who hoped to escape as the expanse and inner systems fell into war.
*[[Garden of the Celestials]] - This area holds no habitable planets. However, the [[Roving Flotilla]] dwelt here after their exile from Mizani space.
*[[Morduin's Hunting Grounds]] - Designated as a Dark Zone by the Karalian government, the [[Telophere Autocracy]] is active here. This area served as one of the border nodes of the Pilgrim's Esplanade and Dhragolon Expanse.

*[[Obsidian Shroud]] - This small region only encompasses the [[Ebon system]]. This system is named for an object called "Ebon," which is a megastructure similar to [[Novarckas]]. Travel to this region is highly restricted in order to limit access to Ebon.

===Outer Frontier===
The Outer Frontier is a region located directly east of the Galactic Core. While largely unmapped and unexplored by the Second Galactic Senate, in the [[Empire of Arckas Era]], the region was actively inhabited by the [[Boneyard Necromancers]] who conducted many of their profane, necromantic rituals across many star systems. The site of a directed [[Anathema]] attack on behalf of a rival faction known as the [[Collective]] led to the creation of [[The Scar]], a site where thousands of solar systems were completely destroyed, leaving almost completely empty space in the area for thousands of lightyears.

The Outer Frontier, while rich in Arckasian artifacts and deposits of perfect ygsium, is incredibly dangerous due to the presence of hostile remnants of the Boneyard Necromancers' subject civilizations.

The Omni empire accidentally caused a planetary destruction event in the [[Azamond system]] while attempting to strip down the resources of the planet [[Farfelim]], which they had mistakenly identified as uninhabited. The '''Crucible Galaxy''' is a large, barred-spiral galaxy with many smaller satellite galaxies. The Crucible Galaxy has a rich history dating back billions of years inhabited by multiple interstellar civilizations.

==Regions==
Ten regions were classified by the [[Second Galactic Senate]], with different classification systems being used by other governments such as the [[First Galactic Senate]] or the [[Buyuk Empire]]. The 10-region system classified the galaxy based on [[Jumpgate]] routes active within the era following the [[Battle of Domum Regimen]], which had often shaped the culture and history of different civilizations throughout said regions via their interactions with other alien species.
===Galactic Core Zone===
The Galactic Core Zone is a region with large amounts of stars, gravity wells and dangerous amounts of radiation. A supermassive singularity lies at the center. The innermost part of the core is said to be almost completely uninhabitable by carbon-based life. The GCZ was mostly associated by the Senate public with the ultra-jingoistic [[Buyuk Empire]], which was constantly at war with almost every member of the Second Galactic Senate.

Besides the capital area of Regimen, much of it has remained unexplored. Nonetheless, many trade routes between empires will pass through the Galactic Core, not going through its direct center but either over or under it. Therefore, the planets which are closest to the Galactic Core tend to be economic hubs.

While the stars around the Galactic Core have very high metallicities, the radiation from the core makes it difficult for life to evolve. Most life on planets around the Galactic Core will have either evolved completely underground or with a metallic carapace that would shield them from the radiation.

The '''Crucible Galaxy''' is a large, barred-spiral galaxy with many smaller satellite galaxies. The Crucible Galaxy has a rich history dating back billions of years inhabited by multiple interstellar civilizations.

10 regions were classified by the [[Second Galactic Senate]], with different classification systems being used by other governments such as the [[First Galactic Senate]] or the [[Buyuk Empire]]. The 10-region system classified the galaxy based on [[Jumpgate]] routes active within the era following the [[Battle of Domum Regimen]], which had often shaped the culture and history of different civilizations throughout said regions via their interactions with other alien species.

===Cinder Reaches===
The Cinder Reaches followed the Outer Arm to its tip. This region did not directly border the Galactic Core, so the species here were not as affected by the [[Buyuk Wars]]

Its border with the Inner Systems was drafted based on clusters and jumpgates colonized or claimed by the Karalian Empire and UESS forming "dots" on a map that invisible lines were drawn between.

Travelling through this region, jumpgates became fewer and farther between, with senate civilizations' expeditions finding more dead ends and more hostile aliens.
