Maistin is a habitable, but hot world. It contains a supercontinent desert with pocket forests. The colony of Tegiti is situated near one of these pocket forests. These pocket forests are blossoming havens of life.
Maistin was one a major economic hub with numerous factories, oil rigs and quarries dotting the landscape. Due to the hyperinflation of the Greenwater Ckon, many of these factories had to be closed down turning the once vibrant Tegiti settlement into an obscure backwater.
The Karalian Empire attempted to stabilize the region, first through trade negotiations then through the dispatch of military units. This would only bring about an insurgent movement trying to break away and become independent once more.
